Add romans

A bedside rugs with romantic roses and ribbons adds romance to a Victorian themed bedroom. Choose a floral rug to add color and interest in a bedroom with lots of space to show off the pattern. Keep straw simple – a white bow tie with matching shams and skirt, for example – to avoid overwhelming eye with competing patterns.

Simple Stripes

Striped bedside rugs can add pizazz or create a subtle background for the strong lines of a contemporary bedroom. Bold stripes live an intriguing color scheme, and accent slim, curved lines that are common to modern furniture. Pinstriped carpets have less visual impact, but underlined lines give a foil for the more brand angles and shapes of kitchen cabinets, coffins and beds. Play angled stripes in the carpet to correct structural defects. Making a narrow space seems broader by placing stripes across the room, or choosing a diagonal edge to taper awkward proportions.

Get the carpet from the floor with a surprising twist for a teenager or child’s bedroom. Turn a whole wall into a bulletin board by covering it with light, low-pile wall to wall carpets. Choose a bold set to serve as a background for memories, posters and artwork. Self-adhesive mat boxes make the task easier to mount the carpet on a wall and allow easier removal if you regret you in a few years.

Layer carpets

Call luxury and abundance through layered carpets on top of each other. Choose a low-pile wall to wall carpet for the base layer, and then select one or more carpets to accent room areas. Center the bed on an oriental mat that stretches two to five feet on each side. Lay a matte runner along one wall and arrange kitchen cabinets and coffins on the runner. Layer a patterned mat diagonally on top of the solid base mat and arrange the furniture within its boundaries leaving the corners bare. Black and other dark-colored carpet can be impractical for households with small children or pets, or for trash-detached homes traced indoors. Light carpets also show contamination. Neutral rugs and carpets woven with more than one color help camouflage soil or pet hair in the bedroom.
