To repair a metal twin bed with trundle, first determine which part of the bed has to be fixed. If the bed is wobbly, there are most likely screws that have come back loose and want to be tightened. Original wood screws that seem to be stripped should get replaced with new wood screws. Take all the bedding out of bed. Remove the mattress to expose the frame. Locate the bolts that fix the sections of the nest bed along. Insert the Allen key into one of the frame bolts. Insert the screwdriver into a bolt and pinch by turning the screwdriver clockwise. Repeat this step for the remaining screws in the frame. Place the screwdriver on the screw. Turn the screw counterclockwise with the screwdriver until your hand. Remove the screw. Insert a wood screw back to the opening. Tighten the screws with the screwdriver. Repeat steps 1 to 3 for all the screws that need to be replaced. Put the mattress on the bed. Replace the bedding.
