Kids Writing Desk – LeapFrog Enterprises, founded in 1995, is an educational toy company that develops and designs educational toys and teaching materials for children from infants to elementary schools. This educational toy company is well known for their products, to name a few – LeapFrog My First Leap Pad, Leapster, and LeapFrog Phonics Writing Desk. The latter is regarded as a global blow in teaching basic toddlers and basic help in writing letters and knowing the sounds of alphabet fonts and letter formations.

Although this series of educational toys has been discontinued by the manufacturer, it is still widely marketed by retail toy stores and some people actually sell and offer cheap products for used products in some user-based online market like Amazon and eBay. The LeapFrog Phonetic Desk is like a table for small tots whose ages range from 3 to 7 years. This is an electronic desk, very interactive for your small use, and comes with various tools to help your child learn to write letters. It has all keypads of letters on the toy. It has two screens: one is an LCD screen where a particular letter is shown how to write and the other screen is a write screen where your child has a chance to mimic how to write a letter that is displayed on the LCD screen. In game letters, for example, your child can hit a certain letter key where your child can hear what the letter is and the LCD screen will show him how it looks. On your child’s writing screen you can get an injection how to write it. Because it’s designed to be interactive, it will definitely occupy your little boy for a few hours. Your child is guaranteed to study ABC on his own without thinking about the overall learning experience as a boring academic task.

The LeapFrog Phonics Writing Desk consists of a safe plastic and is decorated with different bright colors. This educational toy has gotten many nods suggested from parents for renewing their own child’s interest in learning their ABCs rather than teaching them manually with traditional pens and papers. The only drawback to this toy is that the words programmed in it are confined to only 3-letter words.
